Anthony James Balestrieri's Obituary
Our beloved son, Tony, passed away on August 9, 2013. “Our Beautiful Boy” will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Tony is survived by his parents, Tom and Vickie Balestrieri of Lafayette, his brothers Nick and Mike Balestrieri of San Francisco, his beloved Nana, Teresa Balestrieri, his Uncle Frank and Aunt Mary Balestrieri of Belmont and his first cousins, Tommy, Juli and Jimmy (Jenn) Balestrieri.Tony loved his Italian heritage and his many cousins throughout the Bay Area. He enjoyed playing sports and was a fine athlete. He loved snowboarding, fishing, hunting and the mountains. Tony also loved the ocean, surfing, motorcycles and cars. Most of all, he loved his family and his boxer, Duke. He traveled throughout Europe and especially enjoyed England, Sicily and New York. His best trip of all was a vacation to Belize with his friend, Jackie Cucco, of New York. Tony attended Acalanes High School and Heald Business College. There will be a service on Thursday, August 22nd at 1:00 pm at Chapel of the Chimes, 4499 Piedmont Avenue, in Oakland.
