Anna "Anne" MacDonald's Obituary
Anna Marie MacDonald, wife of Lewis Daniel MacDonald (deceased), a life long Piedmont resident, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2011. She was born on New Year’s Day in 1923 and passed away at the age of 88. Anna is survived by her loving children, Kristine Hayes, William MacDonald, and daughter-in-law, Kelley. She leaves her adored grandchildren, Glen (wife: Christina) and Scott MacDonald, and great granddaughter, Kiera, She enjoyed spending time in her garden but her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family and friends.Friends are invited to attend the graveside service at St. Mary’s cemetery at 12:30 on Wednesday, October 26, to be followed by a memorial service and reception at the Chapel of the Chimes at 4499 Piedmont Avenue Oakland, CA 94611.The MacDonald family particularly want to thank her wonderful caregivers who brought her much care and happiness in her final years.
