I remember having a long conversation with Lita when I was considering running for the Board of Supervisors after Wilma Chan’s passing. Lita was so encouraging and gave me the courage to step up. It seemed like yesterday that we were just talking to each other and visiting on Sterling. My deepest condolences to Max and family. I remember the time when we shared an apartment in Alameda and how much you took care of me. I specially loved your delicious cooking.
I remember when you took me to see the Giant baseball game to see your favorite player Orlando Cepeda. I remember you got me a job at Wells Fargo Bank.
After I got married with my wife Tessie and have my two sons Chris and Arthur. You still care so much for us. We went camping; several cruises; amusement parks and even Sunday trips to the flea market in San Jose.
