Andrea Marie Zihar's Obituary
Andrea was born in Washington, PA on May 18, 1980 to Martin and Carol Zihar. She has an older brother, Adam, sister-in-law, Jill, and a niece and nephew, Bailey and Tyler. She passed away peacefully on Feb 25, 2017 while in Kaiser-Oakland due to cancer.
Andrea enjoyed gardening, being outdoors, photography and art. She wasn’t too fond of cooking, but she loved to eat. She was also quite the dancer and met her fiance Larry while ballroom dancing. She also loves dogs and had recently rescued a puppy from a shelter.
Andrea worked previously as a graphic designer while living in Pennsylvania. In 2009, she decided to move to the California Bay Area to pursue a career as a Marriage & Family Therapist and Art Therapist. She was passionate about giving back to others and helping those with less opportunities.
Andrea you were taken away too soon. Your kind, gentle soul will be missed dearly.
