Andrea Lynelle McInnis' Obituary
Andrea Lynelle McInnis (02/11/1969 – 09/16/2017) is survived by her elder sister, Arletia Lynn Mayfield (McInnis), and her brother, Vernon Lafayette McInnis, along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Andrea was devoted to her mother, just as her mother was devoted to her children. Since Andrea never really left home, her life changed drastically as she went from being the baby to the primary caretaker of her mom. Even though Andrea had health challenges of her own, she was a doting daughter, visiting the health care facility where her mother was being cared for several times per week. Andrea had a wonderful sense of humor and compassion for others. She was gifted in the art of makeup, beauty and fashion, but never followed that career path. Although she lived a somewhat reclusive life, Andrea did accept Jesus Christ as her Lord and savior and gained strength and comfort from the Lord. However, it is God who numbers our days, and the Lord took her back to himself at the young age of 48 years old. Her mother, Eula died a couple weeks later. They are laid to rest together here at Chapel of the Chimes (Oakland, CA) and live forever in eternity with God.
