Althea P. Martin's Obituary
Passed away December 6, 2012, at Piedmont Gardens in Oakland. She was born in Anaconda, Montana, on March 7, 1917, the daughter of Wheeler and Catherine (Macdonald) West. Although her roots were in Montana, her heart belonged to the Bay Area, where she spent most of her almost 96 years. She grew up in Oakland and worked for many years trimming display windows for department stores. Her beloved husband of 57 years, Glenn K. Martin, preceded her in death. She had no children of her own, but she was very much loved by her niece and nephews, who survive her. No services will be held.
