Allan Pregillano's Obituary
Allan Pregillano, 55, of Oakland, California, passed away peacefully on February 23,
2026, at Alta Bates Summit Medical Center in Oakland, surrounded by the love and
presence of family who comforted him in his final moments.
Allan was born on March 18 in San Marcelino, Philippines, to Adalina Pregillano Belvin. He later grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, spending much of his life in Oakland, Alameda, and San Francisco, where he attended school and formed many lifelong friendships.
Allan was a man of many talents and interests. For much of his life he worked in sales, where his natural charm and ability to connect with people served him well. He also pursued his passion for cooking by attending culinary school, reflecting the joy he found in preparing meals and bringing people together around the table.
Family meant everything to Allan. He loved his children deeply and was incredibly proud of each of them and the people they are becoming. Becoming a grandfather was one of Allan’s greatest joys, a role that brought him immense pride and happiness.
In his free time, Allan enjoyed drawing, fishing, cooking, traveling, and sharing his love of cars. He also loved to sing and dance, often bringing laughter and energy into any room he entered. Those who knew him will remember his humor, his generous heart, and the way he could make people feel welcome and at ease.
A man of Catholic faith, Allan nurtured his spirituality throughout his life and generously dedicated time serving and supporting several church ministries. His faith guided him and was a source of strength and comfort throughout his life.
Allan had a special way of showing love through simple but meaningful gestures.
Whether it was cooking a meal, sharing a thoughtful gift, or simply spending time with someone who needed it, he made sure the people around him felt cared for and appreciated.
Allan is survived by his mother, Adelina Pregillano Belvin (husband, Wallace Belvin); his children, Aldann Pregillano, Alexander Caragan, Branden Pregillano, and Mika’ela
Bocobo; his beloved grandchildren, Jalani Kidd-Caragan, Aldann Pregillano II, and
Elianna Pregillano (children of Aldann Pregillano); and Raelynn Aurora Caragan,
Roen-Alexander Vincent Caragan, and Kai-Alexander David Caragan (children of
Alexander Caragan); and his siblings, Jamillah Harvin and Wallace Belvin Jr.; his nieces
Jaylah Pregillano and Amira Pregillano (children of Jamillah Harvin); Major and Bronze Belvin (children of Wallace Belvin Jr.) his cousin Jeff Pregillano, his wife Irene
Pregillano, and their children Kayla ,Lyka and Jaden; and many loving cousins, nieces,
nephews, and extended family members who will cherish his memory. He was preceded in death by Sinforosa Pregillano and Eligio Pregillano.
His love was the epitome of unconditional love, a gift his family and friends will forever carry in their hearts.
Allan will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of
knowing him. His kindness, laughter, and generous spirit touched many lives, and the memories he created with those he loved will live on in their hearts. Though he is no longer with us in this life, his family finds comfort in knowing his soul rests in God’s loving embrace.
A celebration of Allan’s life will be held at a later date, when family and friends can
gather all together to honor his memory and the joy he brought to those around him. His legacy of love, laughter, and generosity will continue to live on through the family and friends who were blessed to know him
