Alfonso Ley Chonquit's Obituary
Alfonson Ley Chonquit, 61, of San Lorenzo, California, passed away peacefully in his sleep on October 26, 2018. He was born in Mexicali, Baja California on October 3, 1957.
Alfonso studied at the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara (UAG) where he received a degree in Media Communication and News Reporting. When he was younger, he had a passion motorcycles, video making and photography.
Alfonso had a long career and extrememly enjoyed his work in News Reporting for KQVO Radio, KLOK Radio, Telemundo 48, Azteca America, and Estrella TV. He was very well known and recognizied in the Bay Area.
Alfonso is survived by his daughter: Christian Elizabeth Andrade Ley-Topete; Grandchildren: Doris M. Perez Ley-Topete, Kamila A. Andrade Ley and Benjamin Jr. Andrade Ley; Brother: Gerardo Ley Chonquit; Sister: Claudia Ley Chonquit; Mother: Rosario de Ley Chonquit; Partner: Graciela Gonzalez; Son in law: Benjamin Andrade Violante.
