Alden’s favorite activities included cooking, playing bridge and Settlers of Catan, and watching the Warriors basketball team, and he spent his last weekend doing all of these. Everyone is encouraged to send photos or anecdotes about his one-of-a-kind life to [email protected], scatological or sublime, trivial or tumultuous. If all of us would experience and live in the world as he did, the world would be a far better place. Our lives are less rich with his death.
