Lit a candle in memory of Alana Renee Galarce
Alana was a childhood friend of my daughter, Sasha. They went to school together at The Learner Centered School. Alana was so full of life and was such a kind, affectionate girl. We enjoyed her company on family boating trips and vacations. She was a delight to be around and always added so much to our family activities. She kept us laughing with her antics and witty comments. Although she was gorgeous with her green eyes and beautiful face she was remarkably modest. I will always treasure my memories of Alana.

Sending our deepest condolences to the Galarce family.Alana was a beautiful, vivacious and intelligent woman. She touched all that knew her. She will be missed.
Our family loved Alana very much. She grew up alongside my daughters and shared many special times with them. The three girls laughed and played, they cried and fought – but they were always drawn back to each other. I remember Alana loved playing outdoors in the sunshine; she never wanted to stay inside for too long. Alana was out of our lives for several years when she moved to Antioch and I was happy when she decided to move back to San Mateo. Over the past few years, she and Rica would often come over to our house. Whenever I saw Alana, even if she was having a bad day, she always greeted me with a warm smile. Alana was a sweet, kind, loving person and I will miss her very much. I know sheâ??s at peace now and I will see her again in heaven someday.I love you Alana.~Maria Harrington
