Aida Iaconetti Jones Sept 19, 1914 – Jan 22, 2012 Resident of Berkeley Since 1924 Passed away peacefully at home after a brief illness on January 22, 2012 at the age of 97. Born to Genoefa and Dominic Iaconetti in Syracuse New York. A proud first generation Italian-American. Preceded in death by her brother Ernest A. Iaconetti MD. “Aunt Idee” leaves behind a loving husband, Daniel JP Jones Jr, her constant companion through 65 years of marriage. Also her sister Frances Durantini of Berkeley, brother William Iaconetti MD (Lorraine) of Maui, Hawaii and her Sister-in Law Mary Jane Iaconetti of San Anselmo. Nieces Mary Durantini, Lori Baldwin (David); Nephews John Durantini (Valerie), Ernest Iaconetti (Kimberly), Richard Iaconetti, Robert Iaconetti (Barbara) and 11 “Great and Great-Great” Nieces and Nephews. Her lively mischievous spirit will live in our memories.
