You left in silence once you knew everyone was okay to continue your journey to be in the house of the Lord. I met you though your daughter Toni at the VA here at Mather in Sacramento in which you stayed until your son or daughter-in-law would come and pick you up. Everyone who met you love you and would ask Toni when is the next time your mother is coming in to work with you again. You gave me the privilege of letting me call you mom in future meetings but your legacy will always be your family. Grandmother,You are a beautiful Queen in Heaven with a crown of the most precious stones and jewels. Grandmother wear your crown like the Queen that you are! You are such an inspiration to all of us and you always told us to work hard so we can have a retirement. You remind me of my favorite scripture. Isaiah 40:31 "but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." Grandma, you taught me how to love everyone around me. And how to be the young lady I am today. I remember the green Cadillac you used to have and how everybody pilied up in it and went grocery shopping or ran an errand with you. I miss you so much. I know your in a better place now up there with grandpa and auntie Adelaide. Your gone from us physically but not spiritually. Your life will live on through your children, grandkids, great grandkids, and great great grandkids. Thank you for sharing you life, your smile, and your happiness with us.
