Mae Nichole you were my mentor and you discipled me. You took me in to your home and welcomed me to be part of your family for a short time but in that time I learned some great attributes from you. You were strong willed, determined, and ambitious. Your laughter was invigorating and behind that smile was an intellectual, a smart business woman, a friend, and someone you can count on. You always had such an optimistic view to some of the most difficult task in life or situations.Your spirit always enthusiastic and ready to take on the day.You taught me a lot. I really did look up to you like a big sister. I was afraid of parenthood but watching you and letting me spending time with your kids helped me break that fear. Nicole I remember the first time we met. It was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced in my life. It was like it was taken out of the page of a fairytale. You were a very powerful and determined woman. You are a wonderful daughter ,mother, wife and friend. I want to thank you for the years that I did have with you and all the experiences that came with it. I thank you for all the beautiful children you left me here with because even though you’re gone now you left the greatest pieces of you behind for me and the rest of our family to enjoy and love. I’m gonna miss you and I have the memories of those times that we just laughed and then looked at one another and just knew the reason why God put us together. Even in our separation, we could call each other friend. Thank you for seeing the good in me that nobody else could seem to see. Nicole was a really good friend of mine in highschool . She had the kindest heart . We shared a lot of FUN / crazy times !! Haha .. she use to always twist my hair up .. although we lost touch becoming adults and parents . If we ever linked up I know our friendship would pick up right where it left off . I know Nicole through her son Diamond and I am just so thankful to have known such a kind soul. Nicole always made me feel so welcomed and loved and never hesitated to open her doors to me. I am forever grateful for her and her impact because of her I have Diamond in my life and only God knows how much that truly means to me and I just thank Him for allowing me to have experienced Nicole and her love and light. To know such an amazing person like Diamond and his siblings you just had to know their mom was incredible and the love and compassion and strength she had to instill into them for them to be who they are today, I will always be in awe of it. I knew Ms. Nicole through her son Diamond . She took in all 9+ of us as his friends and treated us like her own . She took us to and from church and ushered us down a road for safety. She introduced us to bible study and church events and we hung out at her place all the time . She is truly and light and I will always remember her and diamonds family for being a big part in my childhood .
