With my heart felt sympathy, Tony was like my brotha from anotha motha. . .I hadn't seen him in many years. I have his letter "O" and some other momentum's I found around the house a couple of year's ago and I said to myself "let me keep this in case I see him some day". . .

I am the cousin to Mike Pruitt and Norman Brown. I met Anthony at Mike's New Years eve Party years ago and I Had made Jambalaya. Tony fell in love with the dish.He ate quite a bit of it.😄.From that day forth,everytime he eould drop in at a family event and see me. He we would point out and say "ain't you da one who made that Jambalaya that time? I would just laugh and get outta dodge while he would go look to see if there were any around. HE thought that every event we had there should be Jambalaya there.I thank God I had the last glimpse before glory to see him on the 4th of July 2025 at our family event.He dropped by to say hello to everyone. My mom and family loved him.He was a cool likable n loveable dude. I wanted to make some Jambalaya for the repass but wasn't informed of the plans. My family is sending curb side hugs and love to you all.May the good Lord hold you all in his bussom close and tight.yall stay safe healthy watchful and wise.Salute to Tony!🫡❤️🙏🏽💪🏽🫶🏽. Dear Felicia,
My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult period. Your dear husband, Anthony, was a wonderful man of God. I enjoyed seeing him while I was working and occasionally at North Oakland after my retirement. He was so warm, kind and had a wonderful sense of humor. He will be missed. Take comfort in knowing he's in a better place and is looking down upon you as your guardian angel. You gave him a beautiful send off, he would have been proud. He was always welcoming, willing to lend a helping hand,and his optimism was quite contagious. I will miss our light hearted conversations. He would give anyone in need the shirt off his back.
