Tina and I (Lori) brought Communion to Gloria nearly every Thursday for 20 years when she was living in Napa. We prayed together, laughed together, shared hopes and concerns, and sometimes went out to eat (one of her favorite things to do was look at the menu days ahead of time and plan out what she would order!) We will remember her as a funny, feisty, and very giving person.

A dear friend I delivered Meals On Wheels too for many years has left us mourning her loss. Gloria graciously invited me to sit with her during my deliveries while chats brought us even closer together since surprisingly her sister was married to a good friend and colleague of mine while working together for the Department of Defense. We will miss her wonderful laughs and stories. Our condolences to her family and may Gloria have eternal rest in peace.
