Play honors life of Julia Morgan
Join Chapel of the Chimes in their celebration of world-renown architect Julia Morgan’s life.
There will be three distinct performances, experiences and packages centered around a staged reading of Becoming Julia Morgan, a play by Belinda Taylor, directed by Linda Wilson, starring Mara Purl (as Julia Morgan) and Christopher Law (as William Randolph Hearst).
On hand will be Mark Wilson, author of Julia Morgan, Architect of Beauty, and Mara Purl, author of the Millford-Haven book series. Set in an iconic landmark designed by Julia Morgan herself, this weekend seeks to celebrate the life, design and impact of the Architect of Beauty.
