Taj Mahal, in Agra, India is the world's most photographed and famous mausoleum. |
The Pyramids of Giza in Egypt are among the oldest and largest mausoleums known to man. |
The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, in Arlington National Cemetery, is perhaps the most recognized mausoleum in North America. |
When Aaron Green created magnificent mausoleum elements for additions to our existing chapel and columbarium structure, an entombment option was created that made us one of the most comprehensive end-of-life service venues in the region.
In 1959, architect Aaron Green—a student and later an associate of Frank Lloyd Wright—was asked to create additions to our existing Julia Morgan structure that would use elements of her design with a modern feel. In six additions over 24 years, Green integrated beautiful mausoleum areas into the columbarium, providing our client families with an option for the above-ground burial or "entombment" of casketed remains.
